1. Spelling, grammar and good punctuation are fundamentals of fanfiction. Please make certain your submissions have been beta-read and spellchecked before they are sent in. Poorly-written stories will be sent back to the author and refused until corrections have been made. A list of kind, brave volunteer beta-readers can be found in Resources.

2. The Fuh-Q-Fest was announced on 12 April, 2004, Easter Monday. Sign-up begins 15 April and ends 1 May. Submissions are due by 31 July, 2004. The wave officially ends 31 July, 2004.

3. All submissions must not be posted anywhere else except to the Fuh-Q-Fest site during the course of the second wave. After the second wave has concluded, authors will observe a two-week grace period before posting their fic anywhere else.

4. If you have signed up and/or taken on a specific challenge, and you no longer can participate, please inform the FQF organisers as soon as possible.

5. Previously-published fiction/art is not eligible for this challenge.

6. The use of "Siri" and "Remmy" and all derivatives thereof is strictly prohibited.

7. Artwork must be submitted in either .gif or .jpg format, preferably via URL if files are exceptionally large.

8. Fiction must be submitted in previously-coded HTML format and/or plain text format. For an example of what your story should be coded to look like, please go here. If you cannot code, you will find a list of volunteer coders in Resources.

9. Please remember your canon. Everything that happened from Book One to Book Five cannot be altered. This challenge takes place after Book 5. Sirius died, he is dead. Your job is to bring him back to life after the fact.

10. Have fun!
